Four years ago he received a devastating stage 4 cancer diagnosis. His self empathy and compassion based protocols accompanied by innovative treatment at the MD Anderson Cancer Centre not only saved but transformed his life.

A man walked along the beach with his son. As they walked they saw hundreds of starfish washed up on the shore. The father stopped and threw one starfish back into the sea. And they walked on. He stopped again and threw another starfish into the sea. The son looked at his father, bewildered. When he stopped again to throw another starfish into the sea, the son finally said ‘Dad, what’s the point? There are so many starfish. It’s not going to make a difference’. His father replied, ‘Well, it made a difference to that one’.
